Additional information

The Ethics work package is led by Prof Fiona McNicholas of University College Dublin in collaboration with Dr Moli Paul of the University of Warwick. This work package explores the ethical challenges of ensuring care delivery to those who need it against the risk of pathologising transient and self-limiting disorders of adolescence. The research team will ensure that the methodology and documentation governing all work packages will be ethically informed and legally compliant. The team will secure the consultation of service users, their carers and other stakeholders, both in the development of research instruments and in the exploration of the ethical issues surrounding transition from child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) to adult mental health services (AMHS).
